The Dinosaur of Lake Michigan at Auburn

This event has been rescheduled for September 5, so the August 21 date is no longer active. When it does happen, Kerfuffle and Rabbitfoot Puppetry present a participatory play about a girl named Mary searching for a sturgeon — the so-called "dinosaur of Lake Michigan." The show uses hyper-realistic animal puppets made from recyclable items, live music, and physical storytelling, and it touches on community care in the context of the climate emergency.
