The Chicago River: The Great Reversal
This tour will start in the lobby of the London House Chicago Hotel.
It is hard to imagine anyone wanting to spend time along the Chicago River in the middle of the 20th century. Today, the river’s landscape in the Loop is the envy of many other cities. This walking tour will take visitors into the stories behind the river’s fascinating past, along with talking about the sustainable design features that define the river’s southern bank. Your guide for this walking tour will be Max Grinnell, author and urbanologist.
