The Chemistry of Wellness Workshop With The Carver Science Center

A hands-on STEM workshop for kids in grades 3 to 8, this session at Coleman in Woodlawn puts chemistry to work in everyday wellness products. Participants mix, measure, and observe reactions while making items like lip balm, soap, or bath bombs to take home. Hosted by the George Washington Carver Center for the Advancement of Science Education, the workshop runs Saturday, October 10, from 12:00 to 2:00 PM, and is designed for kids 8 to 13 and their families. Sign language interpretation and other accessibility assistance are available by request at least 14 business days in advance.
