The Artist's Studio at the Library

The Artist's Studio brings a self-guided open studio program to the Greater Grand Crossing library, designed in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago. Participants create artwork honoring time spent with family and friends, drawing inspiration from images by artists including Romare Bearden, Mary Cassatt, and Suzuki Harunobu. The program runs Wednesday, September 23, from 5 to 6 PM, and is designed for families with kids of all ages.
