
The Artist's Studio at the Library
The Greater Grand Crossing Library hosts an open studio program designed with the Art Institute of Chicago, where families create artwork inspired by depictions of family togetherness from artists like Romare Bearden, Mary Cassatt, and Suzuki Harunobu. It’s a self-guided session on Wednesday, September 9, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM, open to kids of all ages with their families. Sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations are available with two weeks’ notice.
