The Artist's Studio at the Library

An open studio session at Budlong Woods on Thursday, July 30, from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, where families can create abstract drawings inspired by sculptor Richard Hunt. Designed in partnership with the Art Institute of Chicago, the format is self-guided and welcoming to kids of all ages. A solid, low-pressure way to introduce young artists to contemporary art without a formal lesson.
