Join the Teen Librarian to explore Nick Brooks's book Promise Boys, about the murder of a prestigious prep school's principal and the trio of students―J.B., Ramón, and Trey―who are the prime suspects. Teens will have an opportunity to read from the book together, share their impressions and discuss the main themes and questions of the book. Participants are not required to read the book prior to attending the reading group; we will read passages together. For teens ages 13 to 18.

Real Ones Read is a program funded through a grant by Urban Libraries Council. This program focuses on helping teens develop literacy and communication skills while providing a safe space for dialogue and learning.
