Tangible Sound featuring Ben LaMar Gay

Tangible Sound, the Chicago Cultural Center’s listening series, presents composer and cornetist Ben LaMar Gay for an afternoon performance in the Michigan Avenue Galleries. Gay, known for blending electronics, field recordings, and brass into expansive soundscapes, takes over the North Gallery on Friday, September 11, from 3 to 4 PM. The Velvet Lounge installation provides the setting for what should be a focused, intimate listening experience. Free and open to all.
