Summer Bat Series

The UIC Bat Lab leads a short evening outing to Arrigo Park where participants help collect real bat data while learning from actual bat scientists. The session on Wednesday, September 16 starts at 7:30 PM with a brief info session at the library before walking over to the park. Dr. Angeles Salles and her team discuss a different topic each time, covering how bats use sound to navigate and communicate. Bring a foldable chair and a snack. Suitable for adults, teens, and kids 6 and up. Free.
