Summer Bat Series

The UIC Bat Lab invites the public to join real bat research during this evening outing in Little Italy. Meet at the library on Wednesday, August 19, at 7:30 PM for a brief info session led by Dr. Angeles Salles and her team, then walk over to Arrigo Park to observe bats and help collect acoustic data. Each session covers a different topic about bat navigation and communication. Bring a foldable chair and a snack; the lab supplies monitoring equipment. Suitable for adults, teens, and kids ages 6 and up.
