Summer Awards Ceremony

The Summer at CPL 2026 season wraps with a celebration for the young readers and their families who took part. The Chicago Public Library hosts an afternoon of music, movement, outdoor games, and grab-and-go kit giveaways on Saturday, August 22, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM in Uptown. Light refreshments are available in the Not-So-Secret Garden. Designed for families with children 0 to 13, with siblings of all ages welcome. Registration is required by the start of the event, and a parent or guardian's email address must be used.
