Studio Saturday: Xochimilco Boats

Studio Saturday offers a chance for children ages 7 to 12 to make and decorate mini trajineras — the iconic boats of Xochimilco — using popsicle sticks, cardboard, paint, and air-dry clay at the National Museum of Mexican Art. The workshop on Saturday, September 19, ties into the museum's current exhibition on floating gardens of the Chicago River and Mexico. Tickets are $10 per participant.
