Stop the Bleed and Narcan Training

Stop the Bleed and Narcan Training at the Bucktown-Wicker Park branch on Saturday, December 12, from 11 AM to noon, covers two practical emergency skills in one session. A registered nurse who is a community educator leads hands-on training on stopping life-threatening bleeding, then moves to recognizing and treating opioid overdoses with Narcan. Registration is recommended but not required; call the branch or use the event page to register. Sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations are available with at least 14 business days' notice.
