STEAM Day

STEAM Day brings a story-first approach to science and technology for young learners, hosted by FIRST STAR FORCE at McKinley Park. Each session begins with a picture book read-aloud, then moves into a hands-on activity tied to the story — building a flying machine from recycled materials, making themed art, or exploring a basic science concept. It's designed for ages 6 to 10, running Thursday, October 8, from 4:15 to 5:30 PM. A low-key, welcoming way to connect reading with creative problem-solving.
