Spotlight Talk: Édouard Manet's Jesus Mocked by the Soldiers

A 30-minute gallery talk in Gallery 222 on Manet's *Jesus Mocked by the Soldiers*, focusing on why the artist chose to paint the subject at all — a decision that reads as startling even today. The talk happens Thursday, December 10, from noon to 12:30 PM, part of a winter series of short spotlight talks across the museum. Free with museum admission, no registration required. ASL interpretation and assisted listening devices are available on request.
