Spooky Chicago: Stories & Urban Legends

Teens 13 to 18 can dig into Chicago's darker side at this workshop exploring the city's ghost stories and urban legends, from Resurrection Mary to Bachelor's Grove Cemetery. The session, held Wednesday, October 28 from 4:30 to 6:00 PM at the North Austin branch, separates documented history from folklore through group discussion and creative writing. Participants also get a chance to submit an original spooky story; the top ten will be published in a teen-created zine, with contributors receiving a copy and a certificate.
