South Side Sisters, Sounds, and Stories at Kennicott

South Side Sisters, Sounds, and Stories returns to Kennicott Park on Saturday, July 25, 2026, from 6:00 PM to 7:30 PM. This free event celebrates Black women composers from Africa, Chicago, and the Caribbean through live music and storytelling. Presented by Àkójọpọ̀ as part of A Night Out in the Parks, the program highlights cultural connections across the African diaspora.
