Skulls & Sweets: Sugar Skull Decorating

A Día de los Muertos–themed sugar skull decorating session for tweens and teens ages 10 to 19, held Saturday afternoon, October 31, from 2:00 to 3:30 PM. Participants get a brief introduction to the holiday’s meaning and traditions, then decorate their own sugar skulls using the bright colors and floral designs associated with the celebration. All supplies are provided, and every attendee goes home with a small Halloween treat bag. No experience is necessary, and the program is free and open to the public.
