Sit, Stay, Read
Kids ages 5 to 9 can practice reading aloud with certified reading assistance dogs at the Thurgood Marshall branch on Wednesday, November 11, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM. The session includes fun activities that build confidence and promote the importance of reading, with the dogs as a nonjudgmental audience. An adult parent or guardian must be present to sign a permission form; families are welcome to stay. Registration is required by 7:30 PM on Tuesday, November 10, and only the reading children (ages 5 to 9) should be counted as attendees.
