Silent Disco and Study
A silent disco study session at the Douglass library gives tweens and teens ages 10 to 19 a focused place to do homework or read while listening to music through wireless headphones. On Monday, October 5, from 3 to 4 PM, the format lets participants study at their own pace and take breaks to dance and recharge. It’s a low-key afternoon option for anyone who wants a little sound in their study time without disturbing others. Call or email the library by mid-September to request sign language interpretation or other accessibility accommodations.
