Sewing: Guide to Hemming Pants

At Sulzer Regional on Saturday, September 26, sewing instructor Jessica Dusel leads a two-hour workshop focused on hemming pants — a practical skill that saves trips to the tailor. From 10 AM to noon, participants learn to take accurate measurements and practice double-fold, single-fold, and invisible hemming techniques on their own pants (bring one or two pairs to work on). Dusel, who has been sewing for over 30 years and runs the bespoke label BB&IDA, keeps the class supportive for beginners while still useful for anyone refreshing their skills.
