A 21+ after-hours event at the Field Museum that leans into the spooky side of collecting. Secrets and Specimens turns the galleries into a space for storytelling, where staff and scientists share unsettling true stories tied to the museum’s collections and the real science used to investigate them. The evening includes hands-on mystery-solving challenges, observation-based activities, and a hidden speakeasy for those who follow the clues. Light snacks, beer, and wine are included with the ticket on this Friday, October 23, from 6:00 to 9:00 PM; additional food and drink are available for purchase.
