Screen and Stitch: Somewhere in Time (1980)

This is a niche social event for people who like to keep their hands busy while a movie plays. Needleworkers and textile crafters of all stripes are invited to Edgewater on Sunday, September 6, from 2:00 to 3:45 PM for a screening of the 1980 romance *Somewhere in Time* (rated PG, 103 minutes), with space to knit, sew, crochet, or whatever else you bring along. Held in partnership with the Windy City Knitting Guild and Chicago Knitters Unite, the event is free and open to anyone with a current project — just register online or at the Edgewater reference desk so the library knows how many to expect. English subtitles for the deaf and hard of hearing will be available.
