Screen and Stitch: On Golden Pond (1981)

A Sunday afternoon needlework-and-film meetup at Edgewater Branch, where you bring your own knitting, sewing, or crocheting project and work through the 1981 classic *On Golden Pond*. The movie earned 10 Oscar nominations, but the real draw is the low-key company: stitchers from the Windy City Knitting Guild and Chicago Knitters Unite gather to share their craft while the film unspools. Registration is recommended but not required; English subtitles are available.
