‘Scopes in the City

The Adler Planetarium brings telescopes to the Bucktown-Wicker Park library on Monday evening, November 16, from 6 to 8 PM, for a free drop-in night-sky viewing. Adler staff and volunteers set up telescopes to observe the Moon and Saturn — just show up and look up. The event is weather-dependent, so check conditions. It's part of the 2026 One Book, One Chicago season, which explores Samantha Harvey's *Orbital*. Accessibility accommodations are available with two weeks' notice.
