Science Is Fun: Oobleck Experiment
A hands-on science session at the Edgewater branch of the Chicago Public Library where kids 6 and up, accompanied by a caregiver, make Oobleck—a non-Newtonian fluid that behaves like a liquid and a solid. Tuesday, October 6, 4:00 to 5:00 PM, the program covers viscosity, pressure, and friction through messy experimentation. Registration is required by the start of the program; a parent or guardian's email address must be used to sign up.
