RiverLab: River Exploration Paddle at River

A guided canoe paddle for beginners that doubles as a river ecology lesson, hosted by the Chicago Park District's RiverLab program. Participants explore the Chicago River from the water, learning about local wildlife while paddling at a relaxed pace. The trip meets at River Park Boathouse on Wednesday, August 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 PM — plan to arrive 15 minutes early for basic instruction. All equipment is included in the registration fee; youth under 18 must come with an adult. Suitable for ages 3 and up, though beginners of any age are welcome.
