RiverLab: Birding Paddle at Marquette

A guided canoe paddle on the Chicago River from Marquette Park, aimed at birders of any skill level. The Saturday morning outing, September 12 from 10 AM to 12 PM, includes waterproof field guides and binoculars (or bring your own gear), plus basic instruction for beginners. The Chicago Park District's RiverLab program organizes these educational trips to help residents reconnect with the river. Participants should wear comfortable clothing and bring water and sunscreen; all equipment is covered by the registration fee. Suitable for ages 3 and up.
