RiverLab: Birding Paddle at Marquette

An unhurried guided canoe paddle on the Chicago River at Marquette Park, aimed at birders of any skill level. The Saturday morning outing, August 15 from 10 AM to noon, includes waterproof field guides and binoculars (or bring your own), plus basic instruction for beginners. Part of the Park District's RiverLab series, the trip is designed to be low-key and educational — bring water, sunscreen, and comfortable clothes. Cameras are welcome but come at your own risk. All equipment is covered by the registration fee.
