Repair Cafe: Forward Chicago
On the second Saturday of each month, Forward Chicago sets up a Repair Cafe at Sulzer Regional Library where volunteers fix jewelry, sew torn clothes, and tackle general household items — though they can't repair watches or properly hem garments. Saturday, December 12, from 10 AM to noon, bring in your broken belongings and watch them get a second life. The event is open to adults and teens. Those needing sign language interpretation or other accessibility assistance should contact the library at least 14 business days in advance.
