Renaissance Project Presents LEGO® Club: Meet Dr. Leonidas Berry

A LEGO® Club session at Thurgood Marshall on Wednesday, December 16, from 6 to 7 PM, focused on the life and work of Dr. Leonidas Berry, a Chicago physician and founding organizer of the Flying Black Medics. Participants build a model plane like those used by the medical team, learning about Berry’s collection and impact through hands-on activity. Part of the Renaissance Project at Chicago Public Library, this family-friendly program explores Black history and heritage. Registration is required by the start of the event, and participants should arrive at least 30 minutes before the end to have time to work.
