Renaissance Project Presents LEGO® Club: Meet Dr. Leonidas Berry

The Renaissance Project at the Chicago Public Library brings a LEGO-building session focused on Dr. Leonidas Berry, a notable Chicago physician and civil rights figure. On Thursday, November 19, from 5:00 to 6:00 PM at Gage Park, participants learn about his life and work while assembling a model plane similar to those used by the Flying Black Medics, an emergency medical service he helped organize. This family-friendly program is part of a series designed to explore overlooked stories in Black history. Registration is required, and kids under 13 must register with a parent or guardian's email.
