Renaissance Project Presents LEGO® Club: Meet Dr. Leonidas Berry

A family-friendly LEGO Club at Whitney M. Young, Jr. library on Tuesday, November 17, from 5:30 to 6:30 PM, focused on the life and work of Dr. Leonidas Berry. Participants build a model plane like those used by the Flying Black Medics, a volunteer medical airlift service Berry helped organize. The program draws on the library's archives as part of the Renaissance Project, which highlights untold stories of Black history and heritage in Chicago. Registration is required by the start of the event, and kids 13 and under need a parent or guardian's email to register.
