REMNANTS 2026 at Winnemac

Wender Collective's REMNANTS turns a Friday evening in Winnemac Park into a walking encounter with Chicago's pre-settlement landscape. Giant puppets representing extinct prairies, wetlands, and woodlands lead audiences through the park as "spirits of the place," converging on a central performance at dusk. The show weaves ecology and collective awe into a site-specific spectacle — free native plants and educational materials are available at each stop. The performance runs from 6:00 to 7:30 PM on August 21.
