REMNANTS 2026 at Byrnes

Wender Collective's *REMNANTS* turns a South Deering park into a performance space where giant puppets embody the prairies, wetlands, savannas, and woodlands that once covered the region. The site-specific piece weaves ecology and history into a spectacle that audiences follow through the park, converging on a central performance at dusk on Friday, August 28, from 6:00 to 7:30 PM at Byrnes Park. Free native plants and educational materials are available at the event, making it as much a resource for rewilding as a theatrical experience.
