
Reiki: An Introduction to Energy and Well-Being
Please join us for an interactive introduction to Reiki, energy awareness, and relaxation practices with Chicago-based Reiki Master Teacher and intuitive practitioner Juj Sutton .
Juj will share the history and principles of Reiki, what a typical Reiki session involves, and how it is used as a complementary practice for stress reduction and self-care. The program will include discussion, a demonstration, and a guided relaxation experience inspired by Reiki techniques.
Whether you're exploring new wellness practices or looking for ways to support balance and mindfulness in your daily life, this workshop offers a welcoming space to learn and ask questions.
What to bring: Just yourself and an open mind. Comfortable clothing is recommended.
About Juj Sutton (she/they)
Juj is a deeply intuitive and empathetic Reiki Master Teacher and practitioner who specializes in grief-aware energy work. Having walked an intensive healing path through 16 surgeries and a rare disease, Juj brings a nuanced understanding of how experiences are held in the body over time. Initially drawn to Reiki as a form of healing for both self and others, Juj offers a grounded and compassionate approach that honors the body’s natural pace and intelligence. Their work creates space where energy may shift gently, defenses can soften, and participants feel supported in a whole and mindful way. Ages 18+.
