Join us for a screening of Wigstock: The Movie (1995) and STI testing in celebration of International Drag Day (July 16)!

This campy chronicle depicts Manhattan's historic Wigstock festival, an annual extravaganza of drag queens, transvestites and cross-dressers, featuring RuPaul, Alexis Arquette, Jackie Beat, Dee-lite, Lady Bunny, Lypsinka, and Mistress Formika. Directed by Barry Shils.

Project VIDA will be on-site to provide no-cost STI testing (in a private room), harm reduction supplies, and information about the resources they provide to LGBTQIA+ and HIV+ individuals.



About Reel Queer LGBTQIA+ Film Screenings:
One Tuesday a month, the Little Village Branch presents Reel Queer LGTBQIA+ Film Screenings . Film screenings will center LGBTQIA+ stories, featuring some mainstream titles, feature-length films, documentaries, shorts, oldies, newies, cult classics, and fast favorites.

Bring a friend or come solo. Snacks and non-alcoholic beverages are welcome in our screening room.

Arrive early to enjoy popcorn + toppings bar. BYOB (Non-alcholic).
