Recreate a Famous Song

Rich Robbins of Young Chicago Authors leads a recording-studio workshop at Whitney M. Young, Jr. Library that walks high school teens through the process of deconstructing and reassembling a well-known song. The point is to understand the production techniques that give a track its distinctive sound, then apply those same methods to your own material. The session runs Wednesday, October 14, from 4:00 to 5:15 PM, and is designed for teens in high school.
