Reading Room Book Club: Orbital

The Reading Room Book Club convenes at the Obama Presidential Center on Saturday, November 21, from 1:00 to 2:00 PM to discuss *Orbital*, this year's One Book, One Chicago selection by Samantha Harvey. The novel follows six astronauts aboard the International Space Station over 24 hours and 16 orbits, weaving lyrical observations of Earth from 250 miles up with quieter meditations on what they've left behind. Copies are available to pick up or place on hold at the branch's circulation desk. Registration is active; accessibility requests must be made at least 14 business days in advance.
