
Reading is for Everyone: Braille Literacy Discussion and Reading Circle
Members of the Chicago Public Library Assistive Resources and Talking Book Center gather monthly at the Harold Washington Library Center on Saturday, December 12, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM for the Braille Literacy Discussion and Reading Circle. The session features idioms, jokes, and poetry to build Braille reading skills in a supportive setting. Braille handouts are supplied, and attendees may bring their NLS braille eReader.
