On Saturday, November 14, 2026, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, the Harold Washington Library Center hosts the Braille Literacy Discussion and Reading Circle. Members of the Chicago Public Library Assistive Resources and Talking Book Center gather monthly to build Braille skills through idioms, jokes, and poetry. Registration is required by calling 800-757-4654, and attendees may bring their NLS braille eReader.
