Reading Came First Book Club

Reading Came First is a monthly book club hosted by rapper, librarian, and Rapbrary founder Roy Kinsey, meeting at the Austin branch on Saturday, November 14, from 10 AM to noon. Each session explores the connections between literature, music, identity, and culture, featuring works across fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and cultural criticism. The conversation is designed to be welcoming whether you read every book or just show up for the discussion — no pressure, just thoughtful exchange.
