Reading Buddy Volunteer Opportunity for Teens

Teens looking for a straightforward way to earn volunteer hours can sign up as a Reading Buddy through the Together We Read program at Altgeld in Riverdale. The session runs Wednesday, December 23, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM, and is open to ages 12 to 18. Interested participants should email Sarah at smartino@chipublib.org ahead of time to be paired with a young reader. Accessibility requests must be made at least 14 business days before the event.
