Read & Craft: Space Junk Journals

A free evening craft session at the Daley, Richard M.-W Humboldt branch pairs a hands-on project with the One Book, One Chicago season. On Tuesday, November 10, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, participants listen to the opening of Samantha Harvey’s *Orbital* as an audiobook while making space-themed junk journals, with all supplies—journals, scrapbook paper, stickers, and glue—provided. An immersive space video plays on screen as you work, and you leave with a personalized journal suited for a book review, a memory keeper for an Adler Planetarium visit, or a space poetry notebook.
