Quinceañera Prep: Community Cake Decorating

The Little Village Branch is turning 15, and they're marking the milestone with a community-made Quinceañera cake — a giant papier-mâché version that needs decorating. On Thursday, September 24, from 3 to 5 PM, teens ages 13 to 19 can add gems, paint, fake frosting, and photos from the branch's history to the structure. It's a hands-on, low-key way to celebrate the library's anniversary and contribute to a communal art piece. The event is free and open to teens.
