Quinceañera Prep: Community Cake Decorating

The Little Village Branch is turning 15 this year, and the library is marking the milestone with a community Quinceañera—specifically, a giant papier mâché cake that needs decorating. On Thursday, September 17, from 3 to 5 PM, teens ages 13 to 19 can help embellish the cake with gems, paint, fake frosting, and photos from the branch's history. It's a hands-on, low-key way to celebrate a neighborhood institution and contribute something creative to the party.
