Poppin Chuck’s Hip Hop Funk Dance Workshop

Old Town School of Folk Music brings a rare street-dance workshop to Douglass, led by Poppin Chuck — a veteran performer who has choreographed for KRS-One, Kurtis Blow, Cypress Hill, and Mya over three decades. On Thursday, August 6, from 6:00 to 7:00 PM, participants of any level can work through Locking, Popping, and Funk techniques, with an emphasis on the foundational grooves and creative expression that define Hip-Hop Funk.
