Poppin Chuck’s Hip Hop Funk Dance Workshop

Poppin Chuck, a veteran of the street-dance scene who has performed and choreographed for artists like KRS-One and Cypress Hill, leads a Hip-Hop Funk workshop at the Wrightwood-Ashburn library. Over the course of an hour on Tuesday, August 4, from 2 to 3 PM, participants explore the fusion of Locking, Popping, and Funk — foundational techniques suitable for both beginners and experienced dancers. The workshop is presented by the Old Town School of Folk Music. Registration is required; sign language interpretation and other accessibility accommodations are available with at least 14 business days' notice.
