Pigeons at the Library

Great Lakes Pigeon Rescue visits Budlong Woods with a handful of live birds and a low-key pitch for Chicago's most underappreciated urban bird. A Saturday afternoon session from 2:00 to 3:00 PM, built for families with tweens 10 to 13: learn a little pigeon biology, meet the birds up close, and make pigeon-themed crafts to take home. Accessibility accommodations are available with two weeks' notice by calling (312) 747-8184 or emailing access@chipublib.org.
