Performance: The Second City at the Art Institute of Chicago
Improv in the Galleries brings Second City performers into the Art Institute for a free, 60-minute set where the comedy is driven entirely by the artworks around them. The troupe creates improvised scenes, songs, and characters on the spot, responding to what they hear and see in Gallery 394. Space is extremely tight — only seated capacity is allowed, no late arrivals or standing room — so arriving well before 6 PM on Thursday, December 17 is essential. No registration needed; the performance is free with museum admission.
